Senior Solutions/Technical Markerting Engineer

As a Solutions/Technical Marketing Engineer you will create technical content for solutions targeted to customers, sales engineering teams and partners.
You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams and third-party vendors on product integration and best practices, all related technical collateral, social media/blogging, demos, technical lead at conferences, presentations, whitepapers and customer/partner webinars.
Your strong storage solutions experience and passion about defining and evangelizing the next-generation of hybrid cloud storage products will be in focus, startup experience is highly desired.
You will work with software partners to deploy and demonstrate how cloud storage fits into vertical segments.
You are expected to be a strong outbound focused technical marketing engineer – with good technical skills and comfortable in front of customers and partners. You should be an active social media evangelist in current position and be able to build awareness through those channels.
Key Drivers Are:
Be the product Subject Matter Expert, create relevant technical content, white papers, webinars, demos, presentations.
Be responsible for developing technical best practices, including architectural design work, test plans, integration guides for products, solutions and reference architectures.
Be responsible for planning, creation, and maintenance of technical marketing materials, including white papers, webinars, demos and event planning.
Collaborate on strategy, help create Market and Solutions Requirement documents (MRD & SRD)
Present technical presentations to customers and partners, and gather feedback to influence product and solution offerings.
Collaborate with partners (ISVs and VARs) worldwide to build Solutions content
Work with partners (ISVs and VARs) worldwide to build Solutions content.
Work closely with sales to identify and built the most appropriate content for sales toolkit
Research competitors’ products and build competitive collateral for the field sales teams.
Be the lead content provider for blogging and social media presence.
Be intimately familiar with Enterprise Storage technologies, ability to create use cases and content.
Create and demo technical presentations to customers and partners, and gather feedback during customer proof of concept to influence final product definition and solution offerings.
Be the product evangelist for the sales force and customers. Help train the field in the product capabilities, best practices and solution architecture.
Have 5-7+ years experience in a senior technical marketing role.
Good understanding of business as it relates to storage.
Solid social skills in front of customers and partners
Be able to travel as needed
Be hands on with Linux: CentOS/RHEL and/or Ubuntu, be deeply familiar with CloudStorage.
