Director of Business Development 

In this highly visible role you will be own and manage partner relationships with a set of strategic, technology, and SI partners to influence sales pipeline and revenue generation through partner sourced and influenced opportunities, boosting revenue.  

Key Drivers Are:

Own business relationships with identified ISV / Technology partners and SI partners

Lead partnership business reviews from time to time to influence pipeline generation, identify potential areas for growth, and opportunities to collaborate in various GTM activities

Work closely with internal teams in sales, marketing, product management, and engineering to identify and execute partner activities

Initiate programs with various partners including Technology partners, SIs, and resell partners, including partner recruitment, enablement, and other joint online and field marketing activities and execute those with internal teams

Effectively communicate the company solution and the joint partner solution value proposition. Present at partner events

Balance long-term strategic goals with short-term agility to maximize ROI

Participate in GTM efforts with new partners coordinating across the marketing organization

Be a liaison for partners in representing their issues to product management and software engineering and develop innovative ways to resolve issues.

Stay current with partner products and solutions, new releases from key partners and make recommendations to Product and Engineering teams on how best to integrate and certify as needed

Contribute to solution-specific product demos, videos, and related documentation and technical marketing assets on all products.

Help develop, expand, and refine ongoing partner frameworks and programs such as joint use 

Initiate, expand and deepen relationships with identified partners

Job Requirements

To Succeed You Must Have:


15 or more years of strategy, business development and/or partner management experience

Strong domain expertise in the areas of Big Data, BI/Analytics,

Demonstrated ability/track record of working with/around technology and technical terms

Passion for problem-solving, strong intellectual curiosity and tenacious competitive spirit

Ability to step out of your comfort zone and own tasks

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Direct sales experience in enterprise software is a plus

BA/BS degree required, with MBA or equivalent work experience strongly preferred

Ability to travel as required
