Live, breath and drive hyper-growth in a startup-culture with great people, great food and great camaraderie.    Our client is looking for a superstar technical marketing engineer to join their small team, manage millions of $$s of equipment and compare and contrast with competition.    In this role you will:   
  • You will be hands on working in the lab, doing competitive analysis, interfacing with customers, writing white papers Solution Validation and with various technology partners products, including servers and appliances, and virtual desktop software, Exchange, Database and Replication, InLine Dedupe. 
  • Perform performance benchmark tests and provide benchmark reports and whitepapers, including general IO Indexing benchmarks, Exchange, Databases benchmarks etc. 
  • Write technical collaterals, such as Best Practices Guides, Solution whitepapers, technical whitepapers, and technical blogs etc. 
  • Develop  training materials for fields sales, partners and customers 
  • Provide customer facing technical information for marketing organization 
  • Demo setup preparation and booth duty in major tradeshows, and help on other Marketing events and initiatives
To Succeed:

Great balance of the back-end lab work (strong in storage and virtualization) and communication skills, and ability to work independently with abstract directions.

Expert in one of the following areas - 
  • Enterprise storage (non-flash, block or file systems), VMware virtualization, Oracle databases, Distributed systems, generalized systems architecture/administration 
Have solid SAN-Block, FC/iSCSI storage experience.    Expert in creating test plans, executing them and creating actionable detailed technical reports    Hands on in the lab - Expert in scripting, setting up SANs, storage, servers, applications, workloads to complete test cases    Experience in competing and winning in a highly competitive industry.    Eagerness to learn and contribute.    Master at prioritizing through lots of work ask s without losing the end goal    Experience as a test engineer in a highly technical industry    Demonstrated ability to work in a flat hierarchy, fast moving business    Must be able to work in fast turnaround and feedback loops    Must be able to present and communicate in front of technical audiences    Sales Engineers and Customer Technical Decision Makers    10+ years industry experience    2+ years technical marketing in enterprise infrastructure (e.G. Storage, networking, compute and applications) Enterprise systems architecture, systems administration or Sales Engineering/Solutions Architecture experience desireable
