Director of Channel Marketing




Join a fast growing established HybridCloud storage start up enabling customer datacenters with scalable storage for capacity-rich-applications.  Use cases include media asset management, big data, bioinformatics, IoT, and backup/archive.

 

In this highly visible role you will have overall responsibility for creating programs, training, and promotions that will ensure channel success. 




Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will establish close working relationships with sales and marketing teams.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through existing reseller partners, and identify and cultivate relationships with new partners, build partner portal

  • Define and drive channel programs
  • Drive field marketing activities, including channel promotions, channel events, and coordination of training

  • Maintain ongoing communication with channel partners via channel portal, newsletters, and webinars 

  • Create and execute partner lead generation activities and track results  

  • Develop training programs to onboard new partners and deliver new product launch training

  • Measure channel success via pipeline and revenue 



To Succeed You Must Have:
Experience working hands-on with the key storage VARs (Fusion Storm, ACS, DataLink) someone who has driven programs at a mid-sized company. 
You have created and managed partner recruitment campaign from the ground up and recruited VARs, MSPs and Solution and Service Providers, Telecom Consultants into the Channel Program. Partnerships, Channel Partner Marketing. 



You have SeniorManager/Director Level Experience.

 

Enterprise B2B Marketing Experience, ability to articulate value prop.




Be passionate to deliver results, go to partners build relations, travel.


Know partners the company sells through:

Software/Hardware/Storage/Networking/Security/Infrastructure


Create messaging, pitch value prop, repackage current message to make it partner friendly, be hands on, create cheat sheets



Start up experience a big plus.
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing plans with multiple individual channel partners simultaneously  
  • Strong marketing skills including, online, print and event marketing 
  • Excellent verbal skills, with ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations and training materials
  • Demonstrated leadership that exemplifies the highest standards in teamwork, and personal accountability
  • Experience building lasting relationships with VARs, MSPs and other integrators
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the US
  • 8-10 years industry experience, with at least 5 years in a  senior channel management role
